yah! I did hook up w/patrick and melissa from boise! Sunday is when we went to his spot a meteor crater2 hours east of boise. WE walked the rim of the crater at sundown and found the l of the "bullsnakes" on the road leading to the parking spot. And the "diamondback", and "blue racer"(i.e. idaho herp terms)on the rim of the crater out crawling on the mmagma r0cck outcroppings. The 2 boas i found by being in the right place at the right time. A Gazeteer topo mapped helped. The other gopher came on a different road leaving the crater... thanks for the interest, JD
