You should do whats best for your animals instead of trying something that someone else has done. My pair was housed together because they were supposed to be female it wasn't until after they started breeding that I found out that they weren't so I seperated them but not before my male injured my female in the process of forcing her to breed when she wasn't ready. In my opinion if you're not willing to do whats best for the health and saftey of the animals then you shouldn't have them in the first place. When my pair was given to me I knew nothing about bearded dragons but at least I listened to the advice on the forum because they knew more than I did and most of them probably still do so you should take the advise thats given to you.
