i have both types of grays.. hyla versicolor and hyla chrysoscelis ... the only way you can tell the difference without testing dna is thier call.. the frogs and toads of ga website has samples of both.. i keep 7 of them in a 50 gallon... for two a 20 or 30 would be fine ... i have a water section that takes up about 1/4 of the tank.. the are mostly treedwellers, dont come down much to the water, but it helps keep the humidity up... there are a ton of live plants which they seem to enjoy, mostly philendendrums (sp?) and pothos.. very stocky plants that can take the frogs jumping and climbing all over them.. also a bunch of branches about the width of the biggest frog.. these guys are very easy to care for.. i dont think ive ever lost one... quite noisy though if you have males.. i keep my temp around 78-80.... and humidity around 75%.. make sure you dont use tiny gravel on the bottom because they might accidentally ingest it while going after crickets... hope that helps some.. dont think i left anything critical out.. .
