They are a sign that the soil is too wet as they feed on decaying matter. Either repot or replace with another plant while you let this one dry out a bit. Make sure the pot has drainage holes so the water does not sit and saturate the plant. In most plants you can allow the the top 1" of the soil dry out completely between waterings. [ Hide Replies ]
