Eastern garter.....

I just caught a HUGE 41 inch Alabama local eastern garter snake under some tin in a field today.. and was wondering its not to late for the garter to still be gravid is it??cause it looks 100 percent gravid.. and has the most unique coloration that I have ever seen in a garter around here.. it has a bright yellow head and tons of red and bright yellow..looks just like a red sided garter snake.. I'll post pics soon....
