Has anyone tried this stuff yet? I am planning to redo my 60 hex to add a stream starting about 2/3rds up from the rear of the tank to wind down to a shallow pool. I want to have a series of tiers starting from the stream in the rear of the tank, down to the pool area. I planned on using fine wire mesh as an armature to mold the mortar around for the stream. For each layer or tier, I have used small plastic boxes which I perforated at the bottoms for drainage and then covered with silicone. I next spread a mix of coco fibre and jungle mix to the wet silicone to hide the plastic and allow plants and moss to eventually grow up the sides.

It's a false bottom setup now I just wanted to add the stream and layer the substrate a bit to add some height and dynamics to the viv.

Anyone that has had any experience with this mortar stuff I would really appreciate your input. Thanks.

Shawn
