Tonight I was handling one of my growing 8 month juvenile BRBs, the female, and she did the strangest thing. I had her wrapped around my arm and she moved right next to my wrist where the veins are and she started sniffing it. I watched her simply because she was looking gorgeous(nighttime) and she opened her jaw as if she was trying to figure out how to bite into my wrist. I first just decided to move her attention so I let her wrap the end of her tail around my finger, which she then took a minute to smell as well.

Once I took my finger from her grasp, she moved(very slowly mind you) to my wrist again and started opening her mouth again.

Is she lusting after my blood or is she just really hungry? I fed the herd on Monday so they shouldn't be too bloodthirsty like that... She's never actually tried to bite into me without mistaking me for the adult mouse.

Any ideas?
