I currently have a thermometer and hygrometer designed for reptiles, both of them repti-med I believe, about 1" above the substrate in my BRB's enclosure. However, I'm not sure I can trust the accuracy of these products.
Are these products really accurate enough? And if not, what is a good way to read temperature and humidity in my snakes cage?
Would a thermometer gun be a wise choice for spot reading the temperature?
And what do you use to accurately read the humidity?
Thank you in advance for any responses to this post. And a big thanks to Jeff Clark for his advice and his baby BRB caresheet. My snake, Iris, is doing great.
