Honduran milksnakes make great captives and would be a fine choice for your first milksnake. They are hardy, great eaters and are easy to keep and breed. Like many milksnakes, hatchlings can be nervous and flighty but they will settle down with regular handling and they usually aren't biters. If tangerine hondurans are your favorite, go for it!
