Recently my wife has started working agan and I have had our son untill 4pm 5 days a week. Unfortunatly these days have fallen on days I usualy spend in the field. Sence the onset of this I have not been able to get into the field at all. My son is 2.5 and dose enjoy working with and looking for herps. However it is my beliefe he is to young to take into the field as of yet. In my oppinion it is hard enough to keep ourselves safe and would be next to imposable to keep an eye on a 2 year old "You parents know what I mean LOL" as well as keep an eye on yourself. Are there any other parents here with small children that take them in the field with them? How do you work it out? Unfortunatly I am afraid that my days of spending a week at a time deep in the forest are over. I have taken him camping and he absolulty loves it but agan we made several small hikes close to camp looking for herps and had I not had other family there there is no way I could keep a close enough eye on him to feel good and work at the same time, Is there any hope?
