I have two small childern,littl girl turning 5 next month,little boy just turned 2 in may. Both have been in the field to many times to count.WHEN my little girl was a baby,i ponderd the thoughts you have now,the thing was ; i said them backpacks for kids.;work great.While herping with me she and i spent hours talking about everything ,from what kind of,snake is that or DAD is there really a such thing as monsters.What im trying to say,time with your kids is so very important . So what better way to spend time with the kids, and doing something you love to do. Just remember be safe,and teach your childeren good ethics,about your hobby or profession.I love TAKING them to the field. I just hope that field is still there ,when it comes time to take there kids herping....................A hoosier field herpers thoughts on that.................Fred Pryor
