eggs hatching

my veiled cham eggs have started hatching about 12 hours ago. however, the babies are having a hard time coming out of their shells. there's only a slit and slight movements now. how long does it usually take for the babies to emerge from their eggs? and should i cut the shellto aid their emerging?
