RE: eggs hatching

Hi, You probably are now aware of this since your message was posted on the 8th but they should emerge on their own. Sometimes they stay inside the egg for a day or two. They are getting nourishment from the yolk. This is not abnormal. Eventually they'll come out to face the cruel new world. There was a picture in last months "Reptiles" magazine about a snake (don't remember what kind) that didn't come out on it's own so the author finally helped it out and it was born without a head. It is best to let them emerge on their own. If they don't come out after a couple of days you can carefully help them out but be prepared for what you might find.
