im starting to put in my accents and such and just ran into a problem, well not so much a problem but something i was afraid would be a problem.i used coconut husk sheets as a background and i have read and worried that as time goes on and the coconut husk gets wet,it begins to fall and droop off the walls.i used silicon to attach it and i began last night to remove sections of the wall and replace them with tree back glued instead.im not removing all the coconut husk, only removing some of it so i can use wood, branches and bark to alternate.i think that these may resist falling off better than pure cocohusk and the remaining coconut husk can have something to anchor to if it does begin to fall in the future.now my problem is,it wasnt untill my cage was nearly done and planted will lots of live moss, that i decided i better remove some background and replace it with something more sturdy.so in the process i got lots of coco huck particles in my live moss and it looks dirty,do you guys reccomend something to clean up the moss? i was thinking about a vacume or scotch tape maybe, like you use to pickoff lint.looking for ideas.now on to the real reason for this post,my tank consists of live moss, plants, dead branches, bark, exposed roots and rocks.im wondering if i missed anything and if maybe you had some suggestions for unusual accents that i could add.i was thinking about mushrooms but they are nearly impossible to add let alone add them in the places you want.i have a fairly large moss covered dead tree trunk that looks awsome with exposed roots and everything,i couldnt help but notice how great it would look with those mushrooms you see growing on the side of trees, you know the ones that look like awnings.im sure i cant culitvate them ,let a lone put them exactly where i want so i was wonering if you thought making them out of clay, baking them and attaching them to the dead wood ares would be an ok idea? im sure i can make them look real enough juts wondering if i use natural clay,if it would be safe to use.keep in mind im not using this vivarium for frogs, but a green tree python so i think they would be a little more resistant to pollutents(if there are any)
