His temperature in the cage stays around 95 during the day to about 88 at night. He's currently in a 10 gallon but if he needs higher temps I'm going to have to go buy a bigger lamp. I did refrigerate the ants till most of them became little balls. I set out a slow ant for him. It crawled up on him twice before I knocked it off and the lizard still wouldnt open it's eyes. I'll try the cricket thing. What do you think about the appetite enhancers or that Rescue stuff that I had in the previous post? This guy needs to start eating. We tried putting little peices of lettuce in his cage last night and he would crawl out and lay on a peice, so we put another peice and he crawled a little further out to lay on it too. We've been giving him plenty of water and he's been drinking a lot of it. He seems dehydrated which seems to be a factor of them eating and has been the problem in several other posts. I was hoping that when he feels he has enough water he would attempt to eat again. He just stopped eating after the move. If he was a little plump I might let it ride out a couple of days and see if he adjusts, but he is too emanciated to let do that. I've been hoping that he isn't trying to go into hibernation as skinny as he is. Is that possible? | ||
