Thanks for taking the time to send some pics of your beauteous Nics! They are pretty dark and in many ways are colored like mine. My pair has very dark brown, almost black tail saddles with no distinguishable black borders. In yours the tail saddles are lighter orange in the middle and get redder toward the edges and are then bordered by black. As you can see the bellys on mine are speckled with black and have a rather orange background color. This orange intensifies on the sides of the snakes. I really am not trying to make a case for these being something other than Nicaraguans. They were sold to me by an individual who bought them from an unknown reptile dealer as Nics. They just don't appear to be like any Nics I have seen and I don't want to breed them in with my ohter Nics if they are from another locality.
