SO TRUE!!!
My first snakes were garters, rough greens, and any other small wild snakes I could catch as a kid. I graduated to "free red tail" and ended up with a snake that was too big and too time consuming for my taste. You have to handle them a bit every day or every other day, and I can't with school and then Renaissance. So I got him a home with a friend who rescues snakes. Right after that we go to our thanksgiving dinner and I end up helping clear out a pond to get the liner, and there I am with a baby diamondback water snake. HEHEHE.He's my new pet snake now!! AND I'll be getting a Beardie from the fellow who took my Red Tail. HEHEHEHEEHHEH
Herps are just as contagious as the common cold..
