Check to see if your camera has a Macro setting, when it's on there should be a little Tulip Icon that appears on the screen... The Macro setting is for small objects that are taken at a very close distance. And your camera might have a feature for the picture snap button if you lightly press the snap button the camera should focus and beep when ready, while holding it steady, press down and take the picture. With a very small amount of practice you'll be taking crisp, clear pictures..
These pictures were taken with a 5yr old Sony 1.3 megapixel camera.. The huge brick cameras...
