Here in sunny Southern Calif (San Diego) our Sept months are peppered with 80 and 90 degree days. OCTOBER it drops down to a FRIGID 72-75(Nail biting cold) but an occasional 88 degree day spikes. While the rest of the nation is snowed in with a white christmas, we are sun tanning at the beach. And we PAY for it(San Diegos housing market is INSANE...dont even bother unless you can afford $450,000k )
No...boy and girls, it isnt until DECEMBER that I find any degree of sucess temperature wise, in which to breed Easterns. Usually during gusty rainy season. But keep in mind that our December isnt always cold...a few years back it was about 89 at Christmas!!
So..I open the windows wide, while its cold and gusting and that seems to do the trick. Of course my pitt bull sleeps next to the Easterns, just in case an intruder enters. A midnight snack for "Buddah"
Cheers
