I would like to state my opinion on Hybinos and Pearls and get everyone's opinion as well.

I have been waiting to see the Hybinos and what they would look like for a couple of years now. Well finally we have some definate Hybinos. Robert Seib and Terry Dunham have produced some beautiful Hybinos. Congradulations to both of them on being the first to knowingly produce Hybinos. I see that the price for these is well over 5000, and I started to think to myself. Aren't these just Tangerine Albinos that are homo Hypo? Yes. And granted they are beautiful, problably some of the nicest Tangerine Albino ever produced. But again it's just a Tangerine albino. So now you have a Hybino male which you can breed to your hypos and get all hypos het albino and you can breed the hybino to a plain albino and get all albinos het hypo. Breed them back together and you get Hybinos and Albino hets and hypo hets. Breed the Hybino together you get all Hybinos. I do not get it. It's still just a tangerine albino. Should they comand such a high sticker price? Now granted you can breed hybino x various hets and get closer to a triple homo animal, but this can also be done with much cheaper animals and take the same time. I have heard a great deal of hype regarding triple homo snows and the value they will bring to the Honduran market as well as the price tag they will carry. But again is it not just another snow. OK so I can breed it to my hypos and get all hypos and this will reduce the number of male I need to keep. But again it's still just a snow. I want to see new color and pattern morphs, am I alone here? Again I am not trying to upset anyone working on the Pearl or Hybino project I just don't get it. If I am missing something of value please share with me what the value of these animals truly will be. Will they produce something never before seen? Please share your thoughts with me-I might be missing something. Regards John
