I think that it is probably easier to tell if they are calcium depleted rather than saturated. And too much calcium can be just as bad as not enough.



Check your female and see if her calcium deposits are noticeable. You should be able to see them right near her shoulders on her underbelly.



If you can see them, I would say to not worry about increasing the amount of calcium you are providing her, as it may be too much.
