Quick Help needed! My veiled chameleons health problem.

I wasnt at home for four days and figured that my adult veiled chameleon would be ok without food. I rigged the water so that there would be plenty of that. When i came back I found that the water container had fallen down and he was without both food and water the whole time.



He ate and drank when i got back but had a dried fleshy thing coming out of his anus (about 2 cm long). This seems like it could be something serious. Any ideas.



He has been totally helthy and active right up till this point. And actually is still active and healthy looking.
