Milki, see Sept 8 post "vanishing ghost".I can only comment based on my own experiences. The pair of hypo het anery's that produced this ghost consistently (3 yrs of pairing) have one to three pronounced vanishing young, both ghost's and hypo's. The rest of the clutch typically contains several standard hypo's and usually one or two have black bands that disappear or fade away. The vanishing "trait" may not show up on every animal in a clutch but after 3 years of pairing these animals I think there is more here than just random expression.
It is interesting to note that the "vanishing" only seems to manifest in the black bands.
If you go to the photo gallery you can see other animals from this same pairing. In 06 I have several of my vanishing holdbacks that will be 3 which I am going to outcross to see if the vanishing"trait" will show up when not breeding related animals.I hope to carry this appearance in to other honduran morphs as well. Rodney
