Posted by: phobos at Wed Sep 21 10:24:27 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by phobos ] Well....According to the DNA evidence there is not enough genetic difference between Horrius from different regions of the USA, subsequently there is no subspecies recognized. Many people are not happy with this change and will give lots of evidence they feel justifys subspecies status. I agree with the DNA evidence but will always call a southern Horrius a Canebrake and a Northern a Timber. [ Hide Replies ]
