I don't use broms in my tanks anymore for this reason. I would rather they just lay in a petri dish (mine have never laid on broad leaves, but I have heard they can and will).

What to do is really up to you. You can leave it (provided you don't have other males or females other than the ones that laid the eggs in the tank that will eat the egg). This is cool to watch. Another option is to remove it. Plastic spoons work nice for that.
