RE: growth rate of a peach throat monitor

Should be about 3' in a year, after that growth tapers off. The problem is there are alot of variables. I do have one that is close to four, and he is the youngest of the lot. Generally first year or so they grow long, then they start to fill out.



I'm not sure where the 5' figure came from, but that is mammoth, 3-4' would seem a more common size. I've never seen one close to 5'.
