Posted by: reptileguy2727 at Tue Sep 20 20:40:39 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by reptileguy2727 ] most filters will be too hard to maintain or wont work with low water. i would use a pond pump and filter. this would give a lot of cleaning power and will easily pump up high enough to power your waterfall. i would get a filter for ponds at least 200 gallons. this ensures enough filter power and will allow you to use it later in a bigger enclosure. i would use a filter that sits outside the 'pond' so you dont have to worry about him going at you when you clean it. the pump will have to go in the water. the water could go from pump,, to filter, to waterfall. a prefilter on the pump will catch large particles preventing the pump from clogging up.
