Posted by: toshamc at Thu Sep 22 12:48:48 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by toshamc ] I have just purchased a het axanthic male and hope to pick up an adult or sub female het for him next season and have a true ghost project in the next year or two. I was looking around at axanthics and could only find a few adult axanthic pictures and most of the adults that I saw had browned out. Is there a line that does not? Doesn't axanthic mean lack of yellow - how could they brown out as adults if they lack yellow? Is there anyway to tell the difference between a browned out axanthic and a normal? Anyone have a real good adult axanthic picture? And last but not least - I have this adult female - is she an axanthic or just an odd colored normal? Sorry my good camera is out of batteries but these are pretty good pictures - she doesn't really have your typical brown or yellow on her? (I know breed her - LOL) But just wanted some clarification.
