Just be sure that the lid is fastened securely. This can be done with two belts or two strings. Better yet construct a rack system using rubbermais tubs. An example is below. It is contructed using melamine sheets that you can buy in 2' by 4' sheets. These are used as sides and as the different levels, which requires very little cutting. This system holds heat and humidity well and the snake will feel secure. Not much to look at though. As for substrate I stick to newspaper or paper towels in this system because they are absorbant, clean, cheap, fit well, and you can't see in the tubs anyway. | ||
