Ordered a Helix 1500 3 weeks before my first ball python females started laying eggs, but they were on back order. Well my first eggs started coming and had to use a Johnson in my walk in incubator room. By the time the Helix showed up, I had 5 clutches of eggs and the Johnson was keeping the room 89 degrees on the money. I didn't ever change over to the Helix. It is still keeping my room a constant temperature today. Johnson Controls are rated for 1500 watts. That's enough watts for an oil filled heater or a lot of feet of heat tape. May use the Helix 1500 next year, but the Johnson performed very good. Thanks, Skip | ||
