And yes, as you indicated, some would prefer the vanishing and some would love some more banding when it comes to extremes. I guess since the color/shade of the banding on the extreme is something to behold and looked at appreciatively in person, it has more impact if you can see more banding than let's say a patternless extreme. The one I got from Mike has a lot of banding even if it is vanishing. But either way, any true extreme to me really is spectacular.

I wonder if any one has an "abberant" pattern extreme.
