My goal was to witness a Copperhead or a Timber Rattlesnake. No suck luck. I hiked 8 miles and didn't see one snake. The area looked like it would be snake heaven, but nope. I asked the lady at the ranger station and she said they are around here, but hadn't had a siting in about 5 years. I know these snakes are endangered, but with miles and mile of perfect terrain I am surpised they wouldnt be more abundant. | ||
