All my light fixtures come from hardware stores. Both basking and florescent tube fixtures. They are much cheaper and just as effective. Mounting can be a problem, but you can either mount to the underside of the cage top, if wood, suspend over an open top cage, or just use a board wide enough and long enough to rest on the top of the cage and hold the fixture securely.
For small tanks I use 18" under cabinet light fixtures, just remove the tube it comes with and replace it with a UVB tube. For longer cages, a 36 or 48" single or double fixture is good. For double, you can either buy two UVB bulbs (alot of extra money) or one UVB tube and a regular full spectrum light tub.
For basking bulbs, I get the ceramic light fixtures rated for a bulb much hotter than the one I intend to use. 225 or 250W rated fixtures are good. It isn't likely you would need a bulb stronger than 150w. ----- PHLdyPayne
