Deffinitely don't use any pressure treated wood, cedar wood or green pine/spruce. If pine/spruce is kiln dried then it's fine. Cedar trim could be used outside the cage for aesthetic appeal but giving the cost for it, no real point in using it. Most other woods can be used other than those already mentioned.
