That set-up turned out beautifully. I do think that is a Rhipsalis, but can't tell you exactly which species as there are several of the "straw-stem" forms that look very similar to each other.
Regarding the yellowing of the ivy leaves-- just remove the yellowing leaves or let them fall to the substrate. You will probably end up trimming back or removing more stuff than you lose as your tank plants grow, but it will remain attractive. My paludarium in particular has gone through several distinct changes since I planted it nearly 6 years ago, but it still looks interesting. You should have a lot of fun with this--and please keep us posted on how your snake does with it, or to it.
One of the reasons I keep dart frogs is because I HATE plastic plants and those contrived phoney set-ups--so I hope you can prove that this isn't necessary to keep at least one kind of tree snake healthy. ----- Patty
