Yes,
I had some honest true ugly high band count nelsoni back in the day and the were shorter fater heavier body snake than a siniloan.Not by a long shot but you could tell.They would seldom reach over three foot as adults and siniloans would get four foot easy.
It was the bands that made them easy to tell apart.The true siniloans had about 10-16 (13average)narrow black rings with very thin inner white or creamy yellow bands.

The true nelsoni had 13-19 (16average)red bands and much wider black bands that peaked out on top.Plus the inner bands were about a half to a full scale more in width over the siniloan.
Now this was at the extreme's of there ranges.Almost all of the animals brought into the country were from places that were in a intergarde zone.
