I want to get some dwarf monitors sometime in the future. I hear Ackies are the more tame than most other dwarf monitors. I personally love Kimberly Rock Monitors, and Freckled Monitors. Both look really pretty. Expect to pay about @500 (500 is the lowest I've seen but they are usually about 700) for Kimberly Rock Monitors. Try Rare Earth. They breed dwarf monitors and I hear their animals are really awesome. I think I'll start saving for some Freckled monitors sometime next year. Also Timor Monitors are small but many seem to be imports. Very few CB or farm raised that I could find. Timor's are about $100 for imports and they seem to be around 150-250 for CB. I hear they are a little more fussy and flighty than most smaller monitors as well as being more arboreal.
