If you have a heat pad, there is no need for a heat lamp. He said the gecko seems to be pretty light sensitive, so why stress her?



I'm keeping over 100 geckos right now, and a decent collection of ball pythons, none of them have heat lamps, and they all do great.



Also, heat lamps are the easiest way to overheat a small enclosure.
