I have a question regarding the business side of things...

Why, on people's website, do individuals who run a reptile business use the terms "we", "our", etc... instead of "I", "my", etc...? what's wrong w/ letting your buyer know that you're the sole entity there doing all the work? what's wrong w/ taking credit for your accomplishments? I just find that strange... Any theories or reasons out there?
