Hello Chris, check out Tektum's aug.16th post below. For large snappers one hand at the front of the shell and one hand at the other end of shell is the safest way to go on allys. Just keep the elbows and forearms out of the way! Large common snappers in my opinion are alot harder to lift safely unless they are tame.
