maybe, I can offer one experience. In addition to the 5-6 things that people look for, you sometimes hear one more saying "it is more apparant when in hand". I didn't know what that meant until I opened the box. When I first held it, I could tell that there was something "very wrong" (hehe..in a good way) with this snake. It is hard to describe...but it looked pale, faded, light...but with great contrast. It looked like there was something not right. Now, I have had light pastels, and they are not the same. ----- Dave Lee
