I had a bunch of mud turtles and something is bumping them off one by one. I have two cages set up, complete with filters and underwater heaters at around 75 degrees. they all get a balanced diet of Mazuri, worms and minnows.

I noticed how one would start floating, and not take interest in food and have what looks like shedding skin on the forelimbs and face. I thint it could be fungus but how? the water is filtered nad the temp is warm. Anyway once the turtle got like this it stopped eating and eventually died.

My one red ear, who I had outside all summer and was fine, i brought in. he was with the male muds and within two weeks he is dead. but he has no external signs of anything wrong.. .


I am at a loss of what to do.. can someone help ASAP.
