The adults can easily intimidate and deny the smaller one of food, good basking spots etc. Also, if the size difference is big enough, the adults can easily kill, maybe even eat the younger dragon. Another factor, especially later on in life, is the father will breed with his daughter which is never a good ideal with dragons. | ||
