Big Common w/ Little Common Snapper

hey guys,



I have two common snapping turtles. The little one is about 1 1/2 inches (shell) and the bigger one is around 3 inches (shell). Well, my question is could I put them both together in the same tank?(40 breeder) If so, are there any precautions I must take before putting them in the same tank together?
