Problem down the line...

Hey all,

You guys helped me out before so I'm back for seconds. Again, still a new owner but i'm gonna be facing one helluva problem down the line. I'm a college student and am currently going to school in upstate NY, however my home and where I have a job lined up this next summer is 3000 miles away in southern california. For winter break I can have my friend take care of my python but I need to figure out some way to take him back with me for the summer. I've yet to think of a good solution so I'm asking all you guys what you'd do in my situation. I think the plane would be too cold, let alone them even letting me take him as a carry-on. Same goes for putting him in the back, and I don't think i can ship him safely? Lookin for any suggestions / common solutions.
