One basking/spot light shold do just fine. If you are not using a MVB then you will need a second UBV light strip--it will also supply additional 'light' and brighten the tank.



I use one 100W spot bulb and a long UVB strip light in each of my 75 gallon tanks and the temps are fine...our house temp is pretty stable (around 70-75F). If your temps drop a lot inside during winter months you may need to add an additional ceramic heat emitter for night heat.
