Finding timbers in the pines will be quite a challenge as a local south jerseyian I've never seen one. There out there but in small numbers. Lebanon state park is a nice place for herping, along with Wharton State Forest and Double Trouble State Park. Good Luck finding one though. Also watch out for the hitler youth(conservation officers) if they see you with anything but a camera they will give you a hard time and rightly so, too much poaching go on out there anyway. Good luck
