School looking for Class Pet

Hello and thanks in advance for reading this post.



I am posting for my wife a school teacher; her class is allowed a class pet usually it is a hamster or fish. However as Herp loves and Bearded Dragon owners we wanted to expose her 1st grade class to a different type of pet. We had planned to adopt a Bearded Dragon from a local rescue group, but it took over a month to get approval from the school district to have an "alternative" classroom pet. By that time the group of Bearded Dragons up for adoption was gone. The school is in Northern NJ and now we are looking for another Bearded Dragon to rescue. If anyone knows of any groups or individuals with a Bearded Dragon up for adoption please let us know. We are not looking for anything fancy a normal phase or “Stubby(missing tails or limbs) Bearded Dragon” are more than fine, we are also open to any age, babies would be great but an adult is fine too. We are willing to pick up or meet up with someone in NJ, NY, PA, CT even if you are not in these area please contact us and we will see what we can workout
