i have read before that you should give your uros two weeks of not being held or disturbed to let them settle into their new home. some people also suggest putting their food in the cage while they are asleep, so that you don't scare them. also are three sides of the cage covered so they only have to worry about the front? that helps too and if they seem really stressed, cover all four sides temporarily

they will be a little moody for a couple days. imagine if you were ripped from your home, shipped across the world and then sold to someone, you would be moody too so it is not abnormal for them not to eat right away.

if them not eating really concerns you, you could try things that some uros just can't resist, like fresh, pesticide free flowers, peas or a couple crickets, but not alot of crickets. every uro is different but those are just some things that seem to come up alot as uro favorites. also bee pollen, which can be found in vitamin stores, can stimulate a uros appetite when sprinkled on a salad.
