now the trick is finding out where to lay the stuff

now, hers the scenario:

heavily wooded slopes down to a low-lying stream. There are some heavily rocky spots, and some with no rock. I dont know whether to narrow my search closer to water, higher on the slope, or try some less dense cover.

I'm in search of something other than gater and ringnecks
